Old Google Earth coastline

Just noticed that the coastline in Google Earth must be pretty much outdated, at least in comparison with the used imagery.

See the screenshot from the Google earth with the Aral sea (it has started to shrink in 60's and by 90's it looked already pretty much as nowadays).
